With millions on the move for the Lunar New Year, the aviation sector is scrambling to add flights and manage a familiar problem: packed planes one way, half-empty flights the other.
Ha Noi and Sai Gon Railway Passenger Transport
Companies are offering promotions on routes from Ha Noi to HCM City, Ha
Noi to Da Nang and Ha Noi to Vinh.
The Sai Gon Railway Passenger Transport Company said
it would put more trains into operation between HCM City and Nha Trang,
Quy Nhon or Phan Thiet during the Independence Day holiday on September
2.
Quang Ninh provincial authorities have required
boats owners in Ha Long Bay to follow safety procedures in accordance
with the Viet Nam Standard 5801-2005.
